Celebrities Are In Shock After Kobe Bryant’s Sudden Death After Helicopter Crash – Essence
UPDATE 3:15 p.m. ET: Gianna Bryant, 13 died with her father, Kobe Bryant, in the helicopter crash that occurred Sunday morning, Bryant’s reps confirmed to TMZ Sports.
Legendary basketball player Kobe Bryant was among those who died in a helicopter crash Sunday morning in Calabasas, California, a source confirmed to ESPN. He was 41.
ESSENCE reached out to a rep for Bryant, but didn’t immediately hear back.
Bryant, who retired from the NBA in 2015 after winning five championships with the Los Angeles Lakers, leaves behind his wife, Vanessa, and his four daughters.
As news trickles in about the crash that took the NBA player’s life along with four others, celebrities have already taken to social media to remember the basketball star known as The Black Mamba.
