I’m a Celebrity’s Ant and Dec respond to recurring fan question – digitalspy.com

It’s that time of year again. No, not Christmas – the time where audiences want to know why I’m a Celebrity presenters Ant & Dec have to cover up their watches while on screen.

Fans have taken to Twitter to demand answers after they saw Ant’s watch clearly covered while he was presenting. Was it to do with product placement? To avoid sun reflection? To prevent confusion with the cameras?

Ant & Dec themselves even responded on their own Twitter account with their own question, asking: “Who’s gonna explain?”

Well, the correct answer, as many pointed out, is that the campmates aren’t supposed to know the time, so the presenters can’t wear anything that may give that away.

Some fans got really sassy about the recurring question, with one suggesting they schedule a tweet for next year to ask the same question, and another recommending a pre-show message to clear up everyone’s curiosity. We’re all for it in 2020.

In other I’m a Celeb news, Kimberley Walsh has addressed all those rumours of a divide between her former Girls Aloud bandmates – and bizarre talk of a WhatsApp group where they organise voting for Nadine Coyle in Bushtucker Trials.

Speaking earlier this week, Kimberley stressed that reports she and fellow ex-bandmates Nicola Roberts and Cheryl had been badmouthing Nadine and trying to get her to do the show’s infamous challenges were “completely untrue”.

“It did surprise me and Cheryl – she texted me saying she was absolutely crying her eyes out, this is awful,” she explained.

“I just don’t like the negativity because I do actually want her to do well and I’m impressed that she’s doing so great.”

I’m a Celebrity airs nightly at 9pm on ITV.
