Selena Gomez had an interesting reaction when Bella Hadid removed a post she commented on.
After Hadid, 23, shared a pic from a Dior photoshoot over the weekend, Gomez, 27, complimented the model on her look, writing: “Stunning.”
Shortly after, however, Hadid deleted the gorgeous pic. When a fan account then resurfaced the image to point out how Hadid had deleted the post following Gomez’s comment, the “Wolves” singer appeared to share her feelings on the matter.
“She’s all about supporting women,” the fan account wrote. “You all just can’t take it nicely. Btw Ms Hadid deleted the post”
“That sucks,” Gomez commented, adding a crying emoji.
Since Hadid removed the photo after Gomez had commented, some fans believed there was some sort of correlation. The ladies have made headlines in the past with their interactions on social media after they both famously dated The Weeknd.
Although Hadid has yet to comment on why she deleted the Instagram post from over the weekend, it’s worth noting that the model is close friends with Hailey Baldwin, who, of course, is married to Gomez’s ex, Justin Bieber.
Hadid still does not follow Gomez on Instagram, while the singer recently refollowed the model. To this day many fans believe the social media fallout stems from Gomez dating The Weeknd in 2017. Hadid unfollowed Gomez shortly after the former Disney star was seen locking lips with the singer just a few months after they had split. Gomez also subsequently unfollowed Hadid.
Gomez and The Weeknd dated for less than a year and he reconciled with Hadid in summer 2018. They broke up again last August.
