Reader question: What is being built next to Panda Express?
Answer: Starbucks and Aspen Dental are the two signed tenants for that Darboy building between Panda Express and Dunkin’.
It’s in the outlot of Kohl’s and faces County KK. It’s currently covered with purple construction material.
The building, which will be ready by summer, has two more available spaces for lease.
Midwest Expansion out of Green Bay is the developer. Building permits show construction costs of $650,000 for the 11,000-square-foot structure.
That isn’t the site, as some think, for a new Panera Bread restaurant.
Panera Bread is the intended tenant for the fenced site farther east on County KK, between US. Cellular/Chipotle and the Old National Bank. It has not yet signed a lease.
