LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Some people in our area are showing that helping those in need is always in fashion.
The Fashion Cornucopia Style Show Fundraiser took place at Savior’s Lutheran Church on Saturday.
The show serves as a fundraiser for the Women’s Clothes Closet.
Women’s Clothes Closet provides up-to-date clothing for women re-entering the workforce.
For the price of admission attendees were given a full course meal, heard live music, and could tour the Women’s Clothes Closet.
The event means a lot to those at Women’s Clothes Closet.
“Very, very heartwarming. It’s very heartwarming just to see what we can do with a lot of help from the community, from other churches and from our church,” event coordinator, Betty Linse, said.
This is the 12th year of the fashion show.
