Detective refuses to shake Cuba Gooding Jr.’s hand – Page Six

Cuba Gooding Jr. became a star on New York’s walk of shame Thursday.

A detective refused to shake the actor’s hand as he turned himself in to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office on sexual misconduct charges.

Gooding, flanked by his lawyer, stepped out of a black SUV and walked to the building’s entrance, where a detective was waiting for him.

In an exaggerated manner, Gooding, who wore a slight smile, thrust out his hand toward the detective, who rejected the pleasantry. Instead, the detective’s right arm remained at his side as he motioned with his left for Gooding to enter the building.

The “Jerry Maguire” star is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday afternoon in Manhattan Supreme Court on misdemeanor charges related to a new victim. He has been indicted on six counts of forcible touching and sexual abuse related to three victims, who say the hard-partying actor groped them.

At least a dozen other women have accused Gooding of touching them inappropriately.
