Caitlyn Jenner turned 70 with an intimate family dinner at Malibu hotspot Nobu, but there was one person who was noticeably absent.
Former stepdaughter Khloé Kardashian skipped out on the milestone birthday celebration, which Jenner enjoyed alongside Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, partner Sophia Hutchins, Brandon Jenner and others.
Khloé’s absence aside, it appears the Olympic gold medalist had a great time at the soiree, where her friends and family presented her with a birthday cake that featured a photo of her with daughters Kendall and Kylie.
“Such a special birthday dinner with family,” she wrote on Instagram alongside the group photo. “Love you all.”
The “Secrets of My Life” author, along with her group, were also photographed waiting at valet for their cars at the end of the happy night.
Tensions between Jenner and Khloé began to mount when the former Olympian announced in 2015 she was transgender. The relationship further fractured upon the release of Jenner’s memoir, which included gossip about the Kardashian family and claimed ex-wife Kris Jenner was aware of her gender identity struggles.
While Khloé was pregnant with daughter True Thompson, she said having a baby wouldn’t change her relationship with Jenner.
“I don’t think that affects anything with Caitlyn,” she said during an interview on “Lorraine.” “[Things are] just as they are.”
Also absent was Jenner’s son Brody, with whom she’s also estranged.
