After an entire month of missed deadlines and false alarms, Kanye West’s new album Jesus is King is finally available worldwide. Jesus is King was supposed to release at midnight on Thursday, but it missed its deadline yet again, prompting West to promise that no one would sleep until the album was finished, so North isn’t the only member of the West family who will need a nap this afternoon. Earlier this week, West also revealed he plans to release a new album, Jesus is Born, on Christmas — so look forward to that one dropping sometime in late January. [Rolling Stone]

As part of an ongoing and peaceful protest to raise awareness about climate change — which must be working, since you’re reading this — Jane Fonda has vowed to get arrested at the U.S. Capitol building every Friday. Since beginning her campaign this month, she has accomplished her goal, and even brought along a famous friend: Ted Danson, who was also arrested after giving a speech to the assembled protesters. Glee actress Lea Michele has revealed that she fled her New York City apartment after concluding it was haunted. Michele describes a series of creepy encounters, including strange noises from the second floor and the sound of a person singing — none of which matter even a little bit to your average New Yorker, who has spent this entire paragraph wondering if that haunted apartment is cheap and still on the market. Between Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music — as well as her most recent appearances as Anne Hathaway’s grandmother in the Princess Diaries franchise — Julie Andrews has cultivated one of the squeaky-cleanest images in Hollywood. But in a recent interview, Andrews revealed that Martin Scorsese almost took her career in a very different direction by casting Andrews in his “How is this not NC-17?” Oscar nominee The Wolf of Wall Street. Andrews revealed that she turned down the role because it came in the wake of her ankle operation, so she was too affected by the painkillers to act — which, frankly, sounds like it would have fit into The Wolf of Wall Street just fine.
