RANDY CORDOVA, ARIZONA REPUBLIC: One star out of four stars. You’ve got to hand it to Gary Oldman. Even when he’s stuck in a dopey low-budget horror yarn like “Mary,” he never phones it in. He sweats, scowls and screams like he really believes he’s starring in something worth all the effort. It’s certainly to his credit, even though all the heavy lifting in the world can’t add much heft to this anorexic little ghost story.

FRANK SCHECK, HOLLYWOOD REPORTER: Two stars out of four stars. Unfortunately, (“Fractured”) all plays out in completely tedious fashion, having all the urgency of watching someone having an impassioned argument with their medical insurance representative. The film also eventually wears us out with its constant reversals, until a final twist ending that, while not entirely hard to see coming, feels hopelessly unearned.
