Tom Hanks, Henry Winkler feud

Apparently Tom Hanks and Henry Winkler have been feuding for 30 years. E! News reports the former “Happy Days” star was set to direct Hanks in the 1989 Disney film “Turner & Hooch,” but producer Jeff Katzenberg fired Winkler after 13 days. On “Watch What Happens Live,” Winkler confirmed he didn’t get along with Hanks and that’s why he was replaced by director Roger Spottiswoode — but it wasn’t all bad. “I got along great, great with that dog,” he said Thursday. “Love that dog.”

‘SNL’ highlights

Matthew Broderick was a surprise guest on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, playing U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in a White House cold open with “Ferris Bueller” jokes. “Impeachment moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around, you might miss it,” he said. Other “SNL” highlights included a “What’s Wrong with This Picture” game show, guest host Phoebe Waller-Bridge as a news anchor covering race in crime stories, Kate McKinnon as Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and “Weekend Update” with new cast member Bowen Yang as a Chinese trade representative — oh, and performances by musical guest Taylor Swift.

‘Lost in Space 2’ trailer

The first trailer for “Lost in Space” season 2 shows more danger for Will Robinson and the futuristic family. The Netflix reboot will return with 10 new episodes on Dec. 24, following the Robinsons working together, alongside Dr. Smith and Don West, as they face new threats in the search for Robot and safe passage to Alpha Centauri.
