Step aside Netflix — a new streaming service is in town, and it has thousands of hours of content available for its subscribers. This upcoming subscription service, entitled Disney Plus, will house multiple movies created by Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and Disney. Which movies will be available on Disney Plus at its launch? Here’s what we know thanks to CNET.

Which Disney original movies will be on Disney Plus at its launch?

There’s plenty of magic headed to this streaming platform. As of Nov. 12, Disney Plus will house oldies (but goodies,) like Steamboat Willie, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and Fantasia. There will be some films from the “Disney Renaissance,” including The Little Mermaid and Hercules. Additionally, there will be newer, award-winning Disney flicks. That includes Frozen, Moana, Big Hero 6, and Zootopia.

In true Disney fashion, there’s still more magic available for viewers to binge. This streaming service will produce original television shows and movies. That includes a live-action adaptation of Lady and the Tramp, also available at Disney Plus’ launch date.

Multiple ‘Star Wars’ movies will be available for streaming on Disney Plus

If you’re a Star Wars fan, subscribing to Disney Plus is pretty good idea. As of the first day, this streaming service will have the original Star Wars trilogy, as well as the prequel trilogy. One of the most recently released Star Wars movies, Star Wars: The Force Awakens will also be on Disney Plus.

The movies aren’t the end of Disney’s Star Wars content. The highly anticipated Star Wars television series, The Mandalorian, will be available for streaming exclusively on Disney Plus. Other Star Wars series, including Star Wars Rebels and Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Marvel films, including ‘Captain Marvel,’ will be available for streaming on Disney Plus at its launch

Who doesn’t love Marvel movies? Some of these films we love 3000, including the 2019 blockbluster, Captain Marvel. Other Marvel films available for streaming at Disney Plus’ launch date include Iron Man, Iron Man 3, and Thor: The Dark World.

About a month after Disney Plus’ launch, fans can start streaming one of Marvel’s most recently released movies, entitled Avengers: Endgame. This is one of the highest-grossing films in cinema history and, as of Dec. 11, 2019, fans can watch it on this new streaming platform.

Other movies created by National Geographic, Pixar, and other studios will be available on Disney Plus at its launch

For those who love nature, a number of television shows and documentaries will make the switch to Disney’s streaming platform. That includes the award-winning documentary, Free Solo. According to CNET, all Pixar films, including Monsters Inc, A Bug’s Life, Finding Nemo, Brave, and Coco will be available on Disney Plus at its launch. The only Pixar film that will not be on Disney Plus right away is Toy Story 4, which premiered in theaters this summer.

Pirates of the Carribean: The Curse of the Black Pearl is listed among the Day-One movies on the streaming platform. Additionally, Disney Channel original movies, popularized during the early 2000s and 1990s, like High School Musical, will be available on Disney Plus at its launch.
