Buzz the Gut buzzed the streets with classic cars – UpperMichigansSource.com
ISHPEMING, Mich. (WLUC)- Hundreds of people gathered at the Cliffs Shaft Museum in Ishpeming Saturday for the Buzz the Gut classic car show and parade.
It started with the show and shine from 5-7 p.m. then continued with a 300 plus car parade through Negaunee and Ishpeming’s downtown.
At the show, you could see every style of car- classic cars, new cars, hot rods. The cruise is meant to be a throwback to the 1950s and ’60s, when people often cruised through town in their cars.
“It’s a big nostalgia to get back to buzzing the gut- we all did it when we were kids,” said Scott Perry, President of Buzz the Gut, “I think it just brings back the kid in the old timers again. And the young kids like it too.”
This is the 18th annual Buzz the Gut. The event is free and open to the public.
