‘The Bachelorette’ alum Tyler Cameron wants to do ‘Dancing with the Stars’ – Page Six

Tyler Cameron may not have gotten the final rose on “The Bachelorette,” but he now has his eyes set on the Mirror Ball trophy.
Cameron, 26, appeared on TV Guide’s “A Beautiful Podcast to Fall in Love,” and talked about wanting to appear on yet another ABC reality show.
“As a kid, I always said I wanted to go on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and that football was going to be the way I got onto ‘Dancing with the Stars,’” he said. “My football career didn’t work out, but maybe this could help me get on ‘Dancing with Stars’ one day.”
Cameron, who came in second place on Hannah Brown’s season of “The Bachelorette,” showed off his dancing skills during the premiere episode.
“I love to dance,” he said on the show. “I was two classes away from being a dance minor … Me and Kevin Bacon are like offspring when it comes to dancing.”
ABC did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment about casting for Season 28 of “DWTS,” which premieres in the fall.
In the meantime, Cameron is rumored to be a contender for the role “The Bachelor.” Former contestants Peter Weber and Mike Johnson are also said to be in the running.
“That’s something I’d have to sit down and really kind of weigh out the pluses or minuses and see if that’s something I really want to do,” he said on TV Guide’s podcast. “It’s a tremendous opportunity, I think it’d be an amazing opportunity, but it comes to my responsibility and I really got to just sit down and see if it’s right for me.”
