‘Old Town Road,’ ‘Despacito’ & ‘One Sweet Day’: What Is Your Favorite 16-Week No. 1 Hot 100 Song? Vote! – Billboard

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus’ “Old Town Road” has been officially ruling the Billboard Hot 100 for a record-tying 16th week (as of the chart dated July 27).

The two other songs it’s tied with are 2017’s “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, featuring Justin Bieber, and 1995’s “One Sweet Day” by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men. These all tie the record for most time spent at No. 1 in the chart’s six-decade history.

While it’s clearly no secret that Lil Nas’ “Road” has been dominating the summer, “Despacito” and “One Sweet Day” were two other great smashes that left a footprint on everyone’s hearts.
