One of the album’s standout tracks, “Brown Skin Girl,” features vocals from Queen Bey’s 7-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.

Guyanese rapper SAINt JHN and Nigerian singer WizKid are also featured.
The empowering song praises brown-skinned women like Lupita Nyong’o, Naomi Campbell, and Kelly Rowland, and has inspired others to embrace their own melanin for all of its richness and beauty.
Even Lupita agrees “It’s the jam!”
Over the weekend, the hashtag #BrownSkinGirlChallenge went viral with Black women around the world uploading photos of themselves feeling proud of the skin they’re in.
Others simply used the hashtag to join in on the fun and share their sunkissed selfies.
Even the little ones got in on the challenge, and I could cry tears of joy.
Blue IVY told her she’s the best thing in the world ! #BrownSkinGirlChallenge #TheGiftAlbum

Some got creative with their captions.
While others summarized the importance of the song so eloquently:
This is for more than just likes! It’s a celebration of our beauty! A beauty that’s always been but not always acknowledged! Salute Queens!
