Beyoncé Told Meghan Markle That Her Son Archie Is “So Beautiful” at the Lion King Premiere – TownandCountrymag.com

At the Lion King premiere in London today, British royalty met the American kind. Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, was spotted chatting with none other than Queen Bey on the orange carpet, and fortunately for fans, their interaction was caught on camera.

According the Daily Mail‘s royal correspondent Rebecca English, the two women and their husbands spoke briefly about their children.

“The baby, so beautiful,” Beyoncé said, about Harry and Meghan’s newborn Archie. “We love you guys.”

Harry also asked about the Carters’ twins, Rumi and Sir, who are two-years-old.

“They are not here. They don’t come on every trip. We left them at home. They would loved to have been here,” Beyoncé replied.

Jay Z then reportedly offered the Sussexes a parenting recommendation. “The best advice I can give you, always find time for yourself,” he said.

It’s unclear if the Duchess and Beyoncé had met before this weekend, but they greeted each other like old friends. According to Twitter user @Khaleesi_Hodan, the Lemonade singer even called Meghan “my princess” as they embraced.

English also reports that Beyoncé said Meghan and Harry are “sooo sweet” when asked about their conversation.

Earlier this year, the Carters paid tribute to Meghan on Instagram when they remotely accepted the award for Best International Group at the BRIT Awards. In the Instagram photo, the couple referenced their “Apeshit” music video, but replaced the Mona Lisa with a stylized portrait of Meghan.

“In honor of Black History Month, we bow down to one of our Melanated Monas,” reads the caption. “Congrats on your pregnancy! We wish you so much joy.”
