It’s America’s favorite pastime. This movie tells the story of an all-American, female baseball league, created during World War II. Although this is a fictional story, it details the real formation of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League.
The women in this story face sexism in the beginning. Still, the women push beyond prejudice to play the game they love. A League of Their Ownstars Tom Hanks, Rosie O’Donnell, and even Madonna. Now over 25 years since the movie premiered, this film is still revered as a story of female empowerment and perseverance.


‘Night at the Museum’
One of the most recently released movies on this list, Night at the Museum tells the story of a man, Larry Daley, who is in between jobs. He lands a position at the American Museum of Natural History as a night guard. Though the position appears boring to him at first, everything changes when the history in the museum comes to life.
