Céline Dion is not just the queen of our hearts and the stage—she’s also the queen of Paris Couture Fashion Week. And if that wasn’t already clear, she made it so with her wide array of bold-yet-beautiful outfits in just the first three days. She’s managed to upstage quite a few models and designers so far, and she didn’t need pants to do it.
She started the week strong in an Off-White graffiti-covered leotard and matching blazer while attending couture shows. She left the blazer open, exposing her bare legs and the fact that she wasn’t wearing pants. Just the leotard. And we bow down to her.
Gigi Hadid debuted this look on the runway for Off-White’s Spring 2019 show but even she didn’t wear the jacket open. Dion did it first.

It seems Dion was making a major statement with that outfit: She would not wear pants to Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2019/20. Because you don’t need pants to rule the fashion world. And so far, she’s sticking by that statement.
The singer and Paris Fashion Week icon spent the next few days pants-free in jaw-dropping outfits, including a Chanel unitard and logo chain belt, a pink strapless ruffle dress with a leg-baring high slit, a hilarious “I ❤️ Paris Hilton” T-shirt with a mini skirt and blazer, a pink feathered tube top, a futuristic 3D semi-sheer gown, and a yellow feathered mini skirt. And even her accessories push the envelope in the elegant way she’s known for. For the Schiaparelli show, she humbly sat from row as if she wasn’t the star of the show in a pair of full-length leather opera gloves despite the summer heat, and topped that look off with a tall bird-like headpiece.
Our favorite look so far has to be the one she wore to the Alexandre Vauthier show yesterday: An ivory off-the-shoulder minidress boasting oversized draping balloon sleeves

And none of these outfits were accompanied by pants. Because Dion doesn’t wear the pants in her relationship with Paris Couture Fashion Week—but she certainly steers that ship (not the Titanic.)
