Sevilla Square Throwing Party Capturing Santa Barbara Lifestyle – Noozhawk

A community event to launch the new Sevilla Square branding efforts will be held 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at 2 Gutierrez St., Santa Barbara.
Inspired by the Gutierrez Street Rollercade that once was at the location, the Sevilla Square merchants invite the public to a neighborhood experience for locals and tourists to live as Santa Barbarans do — enjoying outdoor entertainment including live music, roller derby demonstrations, interactive games, and pop-up shopping.
There will be special deals and demonstrations at more than 10 shops, including a stop at the Juice Ranch truck, paper demonstrations at Folio Press, a chance to win yoga class passes at Yoga Soup, and silent disco mediation with Riviera Towel Company.
Event partners include experiences providing immersive event production, the Brawlin’ Betties demonstrating skills on skates, Chillpoint Band playing groovy tunes, and Islay Events providing interactive community art boards.
“Sevilla Square is a real cross-section of the Santa Barbara experience with over 20 merchants, some of whom have been there for 20-plus years, from Le Reve Day Spa and EGG Gallery to Backyard Bowls, and SB Roasting Co.,” said Albert DiPadova, of Riviera Towel Company
“These days, it’s more important than ever to come out and support your local merchants, so we’re throwing a party to help people re-discover Sevilla Square,” he said.
