BROOKLYN –
The NYPD confirmed Tuesday that the body of Brooklyn YouTube personality Desmond Amofah was found in the East River Monday night.
Amofah, also known as Etika, went missing June 19 after posting a video that left many of his fans concerned.
Authorities found some of his personal items, including his phone, on the Manhattan Bridge last week.
Police say Amofah struggled with mental illness in the past.
