PETA, KIM KARDASHIAN FEUD IS OVER: Kim Kardashian has revealed that she’s traded in her favorite fur pieces for faux ones. She dropped the bombshell by sharing a shot of her daughter North, 6, modeling one of the looks. “Remember when I wore this!” the mother of four captioned it. “She picked out the same look lol but fun fact — I took all of my fave furs and remade them in faux fur.” PETA, who has criticized Kim for her fur-wearing ways: “LOVE it. Thank you for making compassionate changes that save animals and showing the world that #FurFree styles are the future!”
LUKE PERRY’S DAUGHTER SOPHIE SHARES UNSEEN PHOTOS: Luke Perry’s daughter Sophie, 19, honored her late father with three never-before-seen childhood photos of the pair on Instagram. She captioned it simply, “I love you.”
MIRA SORVINO SHARES RAPE STORY: Actress Mira Sorvino is opening up about her date rape. During a press conference with Governor Andrew Cuomo, she broke down in tears, saying: “I’m a survivor of date rape. I have never said that in public, because it is impossible to share those kinds of things.” Cuomo applauder her, saying“I’ve been in this room many times, and I don’t think I’ve ever heard a more intelligent, powerful, persuasive point than you just made — and God bless you for being so brave and courageous.”
MINDY KALING TO STAY MUM ON DAUGHTER’S DAD: Mindy Kaling is not going to discuss her daughter Katherine’s paternity. The 39-year-old welcomed her in December of 2017. She tells The New York Times Magazine: “My feeling is that until I speak to my daughter about that, I’m not going to talk to anyone else about it …. I think people are often surprised that for someone who seems as open as I am on social media and who writes things that seem drawn from my life, I find that stuff [her relationship with Katherine] really private.”
DAVE CHAPPELLE’S BROADWAY DEBUT SET FOR NEXT MONTH: Dave Chappelle will be making his Broadway debut next month in a limited, weeklong run at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Five performances will take place from Tuesday, July 9-Saturday, July 13th. Tickets go on sale June 21st.
