Catherine Zeta-Jones had a sweet birthday message for her “beautiful” father-in-law.

Sunday was actor Kirk Douglas’ 102nd birthday, and the actress and wife of Michael Douglas posted a video to her Instagram to honor the “Spartacus” star on his milestone.

In it, a girl (maybe Douglas and Zeta-Jones’ daughter, Carys?) plays the piano and sings Christina Aguilera’s “Beautiful” while a slideshow of family photos and video clips scroll by.

Zeta-Jones captioned the post, “Happy 102nd birthday to the most beautiful man. We love you Kirk.”

Carys also gave a shout-out to her grandfather on Sunday. She wrote, “102 years young. to my inspiration, my pappy. i can’t put into words how much you mean to me. happy birthday, i love you” on a post of a behind-the-scenes image from one of Douglas’ films.

Like any good sibling, Dylan, tried to one-up his sister with his own Instagram post: “Happy birthday Pappy 102 years!!! Though you are adored by millions, my love for you is by far the greatest. Love you forever and always.”

And Cameron Douglas, Michael’s son from his marriage to Diandra Luker, added his own tribute with, “Happy birthday to a gentleman’s gentlemen, with a true heart of gold.”

Michael Douglas has been staying out of the spotlight lately, as sexual harassment allegations swirl. (He has denied the claims.) But he did pay tribute to his dad last month while receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame: “I’ll say it simply and with all my heart: I’m so proud to be your son.”

Some things that happened 1916, the year Kirk Douglas was born:

• Coca-Cola introduced the formula it still uses.

• Woodrow Wilson was elected to a second term as president, and Montana elected Jeannette Rankin to Congress, making her the first female representative. Women wouldn’t gain the right to vote nationwide for four more years.

• The first “super” market, Piggly Wiggly, opened in Memphis. At the time, some folks called it a “groceteria,” because of the innovation of allowing customers to gather their own items for purchase.

• Oh, and actress Olivia de Havilland was born. She’s a few months older than Douglas, since she turned 102 years old in July.
