MegaCon Tampa Bay celebrity guests include 'Walking Dead,' 'Back to the Future' and 'Doctor Who' stars
MegaCon Tampa Bay has announced a lineup of celebrity guests that will likely conjure a mix of excitement and nostalgia among local geeks.
They include Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who currently plays Negan on The Walking Dead, Christopher Lloyd, best known for portraying Doc in Back to the Future and Peter Capaldi, who portrayed the 12th Doctor in Doctor Who.
They’ve also lined up a number of guests known for Star Trek: The Next Generation, including stars Michael Dorn and Marina Sirtis, and guest stars John De Lancie and Corbin Bernsen, as well as Gotham actors David Mazouz and Sean Pertwee, who play a young Bruce Wayne and Alfred Pennyworth respectively.
The convention running from Sept. 21 to 23 will also include vendors, guest panels, costume contests and an assortment of other attractions at the Tampa Convention Center.
Tickets, which range from $15 for a single-day pass to $199 for VIP passes, are on sale now at megacontampabay.com. Autographs and photos with the celebrity guests are an additional cost, and vary by guest.
