10.55am: Bayer Leverkusen and Germany goalkeeper Bernd Leno is closing in on a move to Arsenal.
BBC reporter David Ornstein claims a fee worth £19.2m has been agreed for the 26-year-old, with a medical to follow before the deal is finalised.
He wrote on Twitter this morning: “Fee agreed between Arsenal & Bayer Leverkusen – Leno still needs to undergo a medical before #AFC can complete the signing, for a reported €22m (£19.2m).”
10.35am: Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is attracting interest from abroad, according to a report in The Times.
The former England international, who spent last season on loan at West Brom, is said to be a target for Fenerbahce and Sevilla.
10.10am: Liverpool’s hopes of signing Lyon forward Nabil Fekir are still on, according to his agent Jean-Pierre Bernes.
The Reds have been in talks with the Ligue 1 outfit for the last few weeks but are yet to agree on a fee.
Bernes told La Chaine Info: “He didn’t sign because uh, it is not over! This is not the end of the story.”
9.30am: Unai Emery has made it clear to the Arsenal hierarchy that he wants to be reunited with Ever Banega.
The central midfielder played under Emery between 2014 and 2016 while the new Gunners chief was at Sevilla.
According to Gazza Mercato, the former PSG manager has identified Banega as a transfer target.
Banega’s agent Marcelo Simonian is now due to travel from Rome to London to hold talks with Arsenal over a potential deal for Banega.

How Liverpool could line-up with Nabil Fekir
9am: Maurizio Sarri is on the brink of being appointed Chelsea manager.
Reports in Italy suggest Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia is thrashing out an agreement with Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis for Sarri’s services.
According to CalcioNapoli24, an agreement between the two clubs is expected in the next few hours.
Chelsea will reportedly pay Napoli around £4.4m (€5m) for his services.
8.30am: The bookies make Danny Rose 7-4 to join Manchester United this summer with the Red Devils clear favourites to land the Tottenham defender.
Rose is expected to leave Spurs and United are currently leading the likes of Everton and Chelsea for his signature.
Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead told Starsport: “Danny Rose looks likely to move on this summer and Manchester United look the likely candidates at the moment.
“We think it’s looking increasingly likely that Rose is running out at Old Trafford next season.”
