Chris Hardwick accused of sexual, emotional abuse?
Did actress and “Just Cos” TV host Chloe Dykstra just accuse Chris Hardwick of sexual abuse? Dykstra, 29, published an essay called “Rose-Colored Glasses: A Confession,” that says an ex-boyfriend who was “almost 20 years” older — Hardwick is 46 — pressured her into sex against her will (and found it funny as she “laid there… in tears”) and exhibited “controlling behavior,” such as ordering her to stay in their hotel room while he attended parties at San Diego Comic-Con. She left him “after three years of being snapped/yelled at constantly, very rarely being shown any affection,” but says he successfully got her blacklisted from working with several companies afterwards.
Dykstra, who dated Hardwick before he married Lydia Hearst, did not name Hardwick in the #MeToo essay but fans say it sounds like him. “The Talking Dead” host and former host of Comedy Central’s “@midnight” and MTV’s “Singled Out” has not yet responded to the allegations of misconduct.
