What happened on Love Island last night? Recap, gossip and highlights from episode nine

LOVE Island is getting fierce as Dr Alex and Eyal continue to vie for Megan’s affections.

Here’s what you need to know about what went down in last night’s episode…

Megan, Eyal and Alex are in a spicy love triangle

What happened on Love Island last night?

Last night was the recoupling and the nation groaned as Megan chose Eyal over Dr Alex.

Hayley recoupled with Charlie, Georgia picked Josh and Rosie went for Adam because…he was the only one left.

The couples were left with some food for thought when they had to play a messy game of passing spaghetti with their mouths.

Laura and Wes went on a romantic date and he asked her to move in with him!

Who cracked on in Love Island last night?

Eyal and Megan

After choosing him in the recoupling Megan wasted no time in cracking on with Eyal.

But it seems she still holds a candle for Dr Alex after he had a chat with her – but will he walk in on them kissing after pouring his heart out to Megan?

Hayley and Charlie

Hayley and Charlie seem to be a match made in heaven and cracked on under the covers in bed.

As long as his pillowtalk doesn’t include anything deep like Brexit, trees or auras they could go far in the competition.

Wes and Laura

Wes and Laura won a romantic date after winning the stomach-churning food game.

Marriage, moving in and love were all up for discussion and as usual they had a cheeky snog.

Rosie and Adam

Rosie and Adam kissed despite Rosie reluctantly picking him in the recoupling.
He’s still got a lot of making up to do – will he ever shed his scaly skin?

Georgia and Josh

Georgia cracked on with Josh in bed after choosing to recouple with him – but some fans were upset about how fast she moved on from Niall.

One wrote on Twitter: “Literally Niall left that day and Georgia is making out with a new guy in bed that night. Jesus move on faster than a mugger leaving the scene of the crime.”

What’s the latest gossip from Love Island?

We all miss Niall and it’s now been revealed that he had to leave the villa for “health reasons” – get well soon rainbow fish!

In other news Love Island 2017 winner Amber Davies has mugged off Eyal calling him a “desperate game-player” and she’s not too happy about the Kem/Kendall rumours either.

A friend of Megan’s has also spoken exclusively to The Sun and says that Eyal is her type of paper, ie a “little bit indie with curly hair and a bit of depth” but assures us that she “won’t stand for any s**t”.

Piers Morgan has also been getting well into Love Island and mugged off Georgia on Good Morning Britain for her use of “babe” and “like” – top banter.

Adam

Rosie was stuck with Adam in the recoupling but he got a telling off from Laura who pulled him up on his snaky behaviour.

He’s got a lot of grovelling to do but it could be a while before he can slither back into Rosie’s good books.
