8am: Manchester United are edging closer to West Ham star Marko Arnautovic, according to the bookies.

A BetStars spokesperson said: “Marko Arnautovic is priced at just 5/4, down from 2/1, with BetStars to join Manchester United after the 29-year-old refused to rule out a move to Old Trafford in an interview with Sky Austria.

“Speculation of the move was fuelled when Jose Mourinho flew to Austria to watch the West Ham forward play in a World Cup warm-up friendly against Russia.

“And the odds suggest the Austrian could be playing his football in Manchester next season.

“Everton are valued at 12/1 as new boss Marco Silva looks to add to his squad ahead of next season, whilst Tottenham are in at 14/1, with newly-promoted Wolves ranked as major outsiders at 20/1.”

7.20am: Liverpool are leading the race to sign Barcelona goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen, according to the bookies.

Chelsea are also interested in the 29-year-old as the future of Thibaut Courtois remains uncertain.

A BetStars spokesperson: “With Thibaut Courtois entering the final year of his contract and Loris Karius’ dire display in the Champions League Final, Chelsea and Liverpool could both be targeting a new goalkeeper this summer, and it appears that man could be Barcelona’s Jasper Cillessen.

“We have Liverpool as the marginal favourites in the race to sign Cillessen at 3/1, with the Blues just behind at 4/1.”

6.30am: Juventus are reportedly willing to offer Marko Pjaca as part of any deal for Valencia’s full-back Joao Cancelo.

The Old Lady are in the market for a new defender, and Cancelo has been heavily linked with a move to Turin after making 26 appearances on loan at Inter last season.

Valencia are looking to bring in €40million from any potential sale though, and have rejected an offer of a loan with an obligation to buy.

10.05pm: Fred will be moving to Manchester United and an announcement is just a matter of time away.

That’s after Shakhtar Donetsk CEO Sergei Palkin wished the Brazilian well at Old Trafford.

He told Shakhtar’s website: “We conducted the negotiations with the representatives of Man United for over two months.

“Since April, their scout had been constantly present at all our home games in Kharkiv.

“Jose Mourinho wanted to see Fred at Man Utd.

“The negotiations were interesting, and, as I said earlier, we are fully satisfied with the agreement terms.

“Fred has been at Shakhtar since 2013, he has grown seriously as a football player, deserving to continue his performance in a stronger league.

“I’m sure he will progress and improve his level. I wish him every success in the Premier League.

“It’s nice that our former players – Willian, Fernandinho, [Henrikh] Mkhitaryan, and Fred – will be playing in England for the top clubs competing for the top spot.”

8.35pm: Liverpool have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Roma goalkeeper Alisson.

Former Brazil goalkeeper Claudio Taffarel claims he knows the 25-year-old is ‘very happy’ at the Serie A club.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is expected to sign a new No.1 this summer following a dismal display from Loris Karius in the Champions League final.

Taffarel believes Alisson will think twice about leaving Roma for Liverpool though.

He told Tele Radio Stereo: “Alisson is very happy at Roma and the rumours of a transfer are just rumours.

“I don’t know what will happen, but he said he’d be content to remain at Roma.”

7.20pm: Nabil Fekir was seemingly on the verge of a move to Liverpool over the weekend.

But at the last moment the deal collapsed due to an issue with his medical on Friday.

And Lyon released a statement following the debacle indicating the France international would be staying out.

It read: “Although Liverpool has been the priority of a possible transfer of Nabil… Olympique Lyonnais is delighted to be able to count on the presence of their captain in 2018-2019.”

Liverpool and Lyon had been discussing terms for a £53m transfer before the move collapsed.

But the Reds cannot announce why they have pulled out of a deal for Fekir, according to the Daily Telegraph.

That’s because of confidentiality issues when it comes to releasing medical details.

5.05pm: Arsenal are in talks to sign £35m-rated Freiburg defender Caglar Soyuncu, according to the player’s agent.

“Sven Mislintat has been keen on Caglar since he was at Borussia Dortmund. He first scouted him back in Germany,” Mustafa Dofru told Turkish Football.

“Sven is interested in Caglar, there are concrete talks, all that remains is for a fee to be agreed. We will see what happens next.

“What I will say regarding the Liverpool link is that there were four to five Premier League clubs scouting him over the international break.

“There are four Premier League sides who’ve made a move for Soyuncu, that we are in talks with.”

3.35pm: Fred’s proposed move to Manchester United looks to on track after Brazil boss Tite gave an update on his injury.

The Red Devils have announced they have reached an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk for the midfielder.

However, when the 25-year-old limped out of training following a clash with Casemiro, the transfer was seemingly put into doubt.

But Brazil manager Tite expects Fred to be fine to resume training with the national side ahead to the World Cup.

“The doctor will bring us information about Fred. The forecast is that he is fit and ready to train with us,” he explained.

2.45pm: Jose Mourinho wants a third Manchester United summer signing sealed before the World Cup kicks off on Thursday.

Right-back Diogo Dalot has joined for £17.4m from Porto, while an agreement was announced last week for £52m Brazil midfielder Fred.

And Mourinho is now ready to add one more, with The Sun claiming Tottenham centre-back Toby Alderweireld a potential arrival.

1.35pm: Ruben Loftus-Cheek has warned Chelsea he may need to leave this summer if he is not guaranteed regular game time next season.

The 22-year-old midfielder excelled on a season-long loan at Crystal Palace last season and earned a place in England’s World Cup squad.

He said: “Going forward I’ve really realised the importance of playing regularly for my own progress and development.

“I felt like I got better and better every game at Palace.

“So playing regularly is the key going forward and that will help me make my decision after the World Cup.”

12.55pm: David de Gea has steered away from talk of his future at Manchester United – with Spain his No.1 priority.

“My future? The important thing is the World Cup and not to think of anything else that can divert you or upset you,” De Gea said.

“You have to be focused on having a good World Cup.

“We are all good. Hopefully we can go far and win.”

Real Madrid have been linked with a swoop for the goalkeeper.

12.30pm: Arsenal have been issued a warning about a potential deal for Lucas Torreira.

The Argentine has been linked with a switch, but Sampdoria sporting director Carlo Osti is ready to make them pay as much as possible.

He told Rai Sport: “Torreira has a €25m (£22m) release clause, everyone knows that.

“Anyone who wants him will have to pay that.”
