Fashion Nova's Men's Line Gets Slammed By Twitter Users
Fashion Nova became a top-trending Twitter topic with more than 15,000 tweets after their men’s line dropped Tuesday, but it wasn’t for a good reason.
It garnered backlash from many fans, with several negatively equating the line to Forever 21 or sharing how they were “disappointed.” Many more argued they were “expecting more” and described it as “garbage,” but some fans took their critiques a step further by offering suggestions to what the men’s line should have looked like.
Fashion Nova really had me on the email waiting list just to drop this?

Fashion Nova initially catered to female shoppers, but men can now experience the brand’s offerings with prices that don’t exceed $99. Denim jackets, sweatshirts, short sleeve shirts, and shoes are available to male customers, among other items. Some items have sold out.
“With the launch of Fashion Nova Men, the brand is expanding its reach even further, offering men the same variety and affordable options in fast fashion that our Nova Babes have enjoyed,” Fashion Nova founder and CEO Richard Saghian said in a statement. “The line’s vibe reflects our brand’s ethos—confident, edgy, and a bit risk-taking.”
The online retailer rose to fame through social media, currently holding 12 million followers on Instagram. Its gained fans in celebrities like reality star Kylie Jenner and rapper Cardi B, who is launching a line with the company this fall. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper earns $20,000 a month to wear Fashion Nova and promote its clothing before her 25.4 million Instagram followers, WWD reported.
“With Fashion Nova, they gave me the opportunity to design what I like and what I want to put out, and I’m gonna put out a line with them, a little something-something,” Cardi B said during her Beats 1 Radio interview in April. “It’s gonna be crazy because it’s what I like.”
Representatives for Fashion Nova did not immediately return Newsweek‘s request for comment.
