Biz Buzz: A couple of new restaurants planned in Lincoln

According to a building permit filed last week, Bagels and Joe is planning a third Lincoln location at 7811 Pioneers Boulevard.

That building is under construction and will serve as the new Lincoln headquarters for HomeServices of Nebraska, which will be located on the second floor.

The other Bagels and Joe locations in Lincoln are at 48th Street and Old Cheney Road and a couple of blocks north of 84th and Holdrege Streets.

Another new restaurant is coming to Gateway Mall.

According to a building permit that also was filed last week, something called Tornado Crepes will be setting up shop in a kiosk on the east end of the food court.

Though there are Tornado Crepes restaurants on the East Coast, this appears to be a local operation.

Information on the website of the contractor building out the space indicates it should be open by late June.
