Urban cultural fashion show for a cause
This is the third year for the Urban Cultural Fashion Show, an event “created to highlight and celebrate all cultures in Idaho through fashion and entertainment,” according to a press release sent from the Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
The event benefits The Metro Meals on Wheels, Miss Africa Idaho (organized by GK Folks Foundation), Miss Africa Idaho Scholarship Program, and local business entrepreneurs.
This year the show will feature more local Idahoan designers and artists, said event promoters.
Vendors will also be on hand selling a variety of cultural items, and Nigerian hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be available.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
