When Ben Stiller proposed to Christine Taylor, he flew from New York to L.A. as a surprise and had everything planned out. “I put candles and rose petals leading through her house to the back deck, where I was waiting; it was really cheesy and romantic,” said Stiller. And yeah, it totally was — except he had forgotten the ring. Stiller had to run out of the room in a panic mid-proposal before Taylor could, eventually, say yes.
