Will Ferrell was involved in two-vehicle car crash Thursday night, according to reports.

The collision occurred on Interstate 5 around at 10:55 p.m. according to the Los Angeles Times and Variety.

A report from the California Highway Patrol obtained by the Associated Press states that a 2007 Toyota vehicle struck the tail of the SUV transporting Ferrell on the right, causing it to flip after colliding with the center divider.

Deadline and TMZ report Ferrell was hospitalized and has been released.

Actor Jason Alexander offered his condolences to Ferrell on Twitter. “Thoughts and love out to Will Ferrell and his friends and family today,” he wrote. “Quick healing. Godspeed.”

USA TODAY has reached out to Ferrell’s rep for comment. The Public Information Officer for the Fresno division of the California Highway Patrol was unavailable for comment.
