Blackbuck Poaching Case: Salman Khan REFUSES dinner and breakfast in Jodhpur jail

Serving his jail term in the Jodhpur Central Court, Salman Khan, has been sentenced to 5-year imprisonment by a Jodhpur Court for killing blackbucks during the shoot of Hum Saath Saath Hai in 1998. Co-accused Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and others were set free by the court in the 20-year-old impending case citing lack of evidence.

Salman has been allocated barrack no 2 in the jail, right next to Asaram, who is serving the jail term for raping a 15-year-old school girl.

Salman, prisoner no 106, was served dal-roti and vegetables for dinner last night but he reportedly refused it. His bodyguard, Shera, had apparently bought outside food for him but following prison rules, Salman wasn’t allowed to have that.
Salman was reportedly also served tea and khichdi for breakfast this morning but he refused that too. Salman will be spending another night in the jail today after the court reserved his bail hearing for tomorrow. The court has asked for case records from the lower court before taking a call on his bail hearing.
On Thursday evening, Jail superintendent Vikram Singh, had said that Salman won’t be given any VIP treatment in the jail. “He will have a simple wooden bed, a rug and a cooler in his cell. He was given normal jail diet like Dal chapatti and the morning meal will include simple khichdi,” Singh said.
Salman reportedly also had a threat from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in the jail. About this, Mr. Singh added that Salman might be kept with other prisoners for some time so that he is not left isolated.

Salman moved a bail application on the grounds that the witnesses against him are not reliable. His sisters Alvira Khan and Arpita Khan Sharma are in Jodhpur. If reports are to believed, brothers Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan will be arriving to Jodhpur today. Close friend Preity Zinda was also spotted at the airport today.
