There’s an eclectic mix of TV shows and movies airing this week. On the one hand, we have John Legend literally playing Jesus. Jesus Christ Superstar Live!: John Legend plays Jesus in this live-action musical classic, which also stars Sara Bareilles as Mary Magdalene. Honestly just watch this to follow Chrissy Teigen’s live tweeting. 8 P.M. ET on NBC
The Real Housewives of Potomac: This is low-key one of the best Housewives cities because it combines insanely serious problems (like Ray’s tax debt) with ridiculous froth (i.e: Karen’s supposed new boyfriend named “Blue Eyes”). 10 P.M. ET on Bravo
The Crossing: This time-jumping action series is a bit of a doozy. It centers on a group of refugees who seek help from the residents of a small American fishing town. But the catch is they’re Americans themselves, and the war they’re fleeing from is 250 years into the future. Say, what? 10 P.M. ET on ABC
King in the Wilderness: The last few years of Martin Luther King’s life is explored in this new HBO documentary, which is both searing and provocative. 8 P.M. ET on HBO
The Last O.G: Tracy Morgan and Tiffany Haddish star in this new comedy series about a man who’s released from prison after 20 years and has to reclaim his life—even though everything’s literally changed. 10:30 P.M. ET on TBS
Legion : This Marvel/FX-hybrid series centers on David, a man who thought he was schizophrenic but discovers he’s actually one of the most powerful mutants in the world. Dan Stevens, Aubrey Plaza, and Navid Negahban star in the second season. 10 P.M. ET on FX
Murder Chose Me: Season two of this addictive murder-mystery series kicks off tonight. Detective Rod Demery is definitely going to have a lot on his hands this time around.10 P.M. ET on ID
The Real Housewives of New York City : Listen, we all just have one question going into the next season of New York: What the hell happened on that boat? 9 P.M. ET on Bravo
Jersey Shore Family Vacation: Your favorite GTL-loving Guidos and Guidettes are back and hitting Miami for a vacation. They may be older (and some even have kids), but does this mean they’re wiser? We’ll soon find out. 8 P.M. ET on MTV
Southern Charm: Look, y’all, I’ve been to Charleston: It’s nowhere near this dramatic. That being said, I’m still glued to whatever drama is happening with Thomas’ new girlfriend. 9 P.M. ET on Bravo
Blockers: My husband John Cena and Leslie Mann star in this hilarious new film about parents who try to stop their kids from losing their virginities on prom night. In theaters
A Quiet Place: Bearded John Krasinski and Emily Blunt have to STFU because some monster who responds to sound is lurking in every corner. I’m terrified and wouldn’t last a day in this movie because I’m so GD conspicuous. In theaters
Ransom : So many kidnappings, so little time, TBH. I just need Luke Roberts to save me. 8 P.M. ET on CBS
