Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are 432 Park Avenue's newest celebrity residents
The condos of 432 Park Avenue are known for attracting a certain kind of stodgy millionaire—like bankers, businessmen, and hedge funders—but a new rumored sale in the building will buck that trend. Two sources familiar with the transaction told the Wall Street Journal that 432 Park’s newest monied residents are none other than Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez.
The entertainer and retired Yankee reportedly closed on a three-bedroom, four and a half bathroom apartment in February using an anonymous LLC. The half-floor apartment, which includes a library and his and her bathrooms, sold for $15.32 million.
The 4,000-square-foot apartment’s most stand-out feature is, of course, its spectacular views of Central Park and beyond, but the interiors measure up with a corner living room, a breakfast bar overlooking the park, and corner master bedroom with a separate dressing area.
Lopez listed her 6,540-square-foot Nomad penthouse in October, when rumors began to emerge that the couple were house hunting. That apartment, that sits on top of Nomad’s boutique condo The Whitman where residents include NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon and Chelsea Clinton, is listed with Adam Modlin of the Modlin Group for $27 million. Modlin also acted as the buyers’ agent in the 432 Park Avenue sale.
