Here Are the Teams for Quavo's Celebrity Football Game Going Down at His Old High School
Apart from rap, it’s obvious Quavo is not only a sports fan but a great athlete himself. Along with taking MVP in this year’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, the Migo recently posted a highlight reel of his quarterback days at Berkmar High School in Atlanta.
Now, he’s bringing his skills back to the school this weekend, on Easter Sunday, for Huncho Day on the Nawf, a charity celebrity flag football game which will see Quavo’s Team Huncho coached by 2 Chainz. Offset, 21 Savage, Rich the Kid, Lil Yachty and Lil Baby will join Quavo’s squad alongside NFL players A.J. Green of the Cincinnati Bengals and Todd Gurley of the Los Angeles Rams.
Team Huncho will play against Team Julio, coached by the Atlanta Falcons’ Julio Jones and manned by YFN Lucci, Jacquees, Trouble, and more. Quavo took to Instagram to post details about the event, revealing the full roster of both teams.
“It’s one of the greatest things that probably could ever happen to our community,” Berkmar football coach Willie Gary told Fox 5 Atlanta. While the details of how to get tickets to attend are still being worked out, the match is set to happen from 12-5 PM. The money raised from the event will go to the school’s football team, and some of its players will be helping with the event itself. “This is special for this community, and they need something like this,” said Gary. “I’m excited for everybody. It’s pretty exciting.”
