Aubrey O’Day admitted she had a crush on Donald Trump Jr. back in 2011 when they filmed “Celebrity Apprentice” together.
“Don Jr. makes me nervous because his opinion means a lot. He’s done this for a very long time — and also, I have a very big crush on him, so I don’t want to disappoint him,” O’Day, now 34, said in a confessional video that aired in March 2012.
She may have also inadvertently hinted at their lust in a meeting with the real estate heir when developing an ad for Crystal Light Pomegranate Cherry.
“We’re going with the idea of Adam and Eve, the apple and the new forbidden fruit being the pomegranate, except now it’s not forbidden,” O’Day says in the clip. “It’s something you can have, you can like, play with your healthy desire … We call it the ‘Garden of Crystal Delight’ because you have to stir the drink. We want to say, ‘Stir your healthy desire.’”
Don Jr., 40, and O’Day had an affair during the taping of the reality series while he was married to wife Vanessa, who filed for divorce earlier this month after 13 years together.
Sources previously told Page Six that Don Jr. “pursued [Aubrey]. It was him who chased her. He told her that his marriage was already in the process of dissolving. I think his marriage to Vanessa was over long before Aubrey came along.”
Since the pair’s hookups, O’Day has released several songs reportedly inspired by Don Jr., including “DJT” and a reworked cover of Gotye’s “Somebody I Used to Know.”
