Chloe BestCelebrity birthdays March 19: Bruce Willis and Glenn Close are celebrating their special day

Monday 19 March marks a very special occasion for Hollywood stars Bruce Willis and Glenn Close – it’s their birthday! We wish you many happy returns if you’re celebrating too, and hope you have a great day, whatever you have planned. Let’s take a look at what birthday twins Bruce and Glenn have been up to in the lead up to their special day and how they may celebrate…

Bruce Willis turns 63:

Die Hard star turns 63 on 19 March, and we’re sure he’ll be spending the occasion with his nearest and dearest. The actor has five daughters to celebrate with; Rumer, Scout and Tallulah from his marriage to Demi Moore, along with Mabel and Evelyn, who he shares with wife Emma Heming-Willis.

Over the past year the family have celebrated several milestones together, including five-year-old Mabel starting Kindergarten. They have also invested in a new apartment in New York, after deciding to downsize from the six bedroom, four bathroom property they own in Manhattan. The property is currently on the market for £12.75million, and boasts incredible views over Central Park. We don’t know why he’d want to leave!

Glenn Close turns 71:

Glenn Close isn’t showing any sign of slowing down now she’s in her seventies! The actress has worked on several projects over the past year, including the film Father Figures, which she starred in alongside Owen Wilson. And her year ahead could be even better; the six-time Oscar nominee has already been tipped for awards season success in 2019 based on her performance in The Wife, which is due for release later this year.

While it’s not known how Glenn is celebrating her birthday, she already has important plans for the following weekend – joining a march for “common-sense gun safety laws”, following the recent Parkland school shooting in February.
