Foundation establishes endowment at LSU Health
The Zadeck Family Foundation has made a donation of $150,000 to establish an endowed fund benefiting the new Center for Brain Health at LSU Health Shreveport. The donation will be used to establish an endowed fund known as the “Zadeck Family Foundation Endowment for Neuroscience Research.”
The endowment’s purpose will be to make intramural grant funding available for researchers associated with the Center for Brain Health, with the intent to support CBH researchers in their efforts to secure long-term sources of research funding. Both basic science researchers and clinical science researchers will be supported through the endowment.
The Center for Brain Health offers a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to treating brain disorders and expands neuroscience research at LSUHS, bringing together both clinicians and researchers.
