Women and Their Work. “Paved Paradise” from Julie Libersat explores symmetry and patterns within the landscape of today’s capitalistic society, using an interactive video installation to present consumption as a modern form of worship. Movie Mondays at Yard Bar. With nicer weather back in Austin, one of the city’s most dog-friendly bars is hosting a weekly movie night. The theme for March’s Movie Mondays is the 1990s — films made during that decade. Up next is “Space Jam,” about a fateful basketball game between evil aliens and the Looney Tunes, who turns to NBA superstar Michael Jordan to ensure victory. “Howard the Duck” in 70mm. This movie featuring a live-action, anthropomorphic duck named Howard is typically regarded as a flop. But it’s bigger than that. “Howard the Duck” straddles the line between careful adaptation and a reimagining of a property as something decidedly different than its source material would suggest. High Noon at C-Boy’s. It’s not often that Austin’s reigning rockabilly trio of the 1990s reunites, and it’s a big deal when it happens, for local fans of the genre that had such a primal influence on early rock ’n’ roll. Bassist Kevin Smith eventually ended up in Willie Nelson’s touring band, but he’ll use a break in the schedule to team up with band leader Sean Mencher and guitarist Shaun Young to revisit classics from old-fave albums such as “Show & Dance” and “Glory Bound.” $10. 6:30 p.m. March 20. 2008 S. Celis Raspberry Returns. There’s double reason to celebrate on this day, with the return of the beloved Celis Raspberry — an elegant fruit beer made with raspberries, unmalted wheat and the brewery’s proprietary Belgian yeast strain — on the birthday of Celis founder, Pierre. “White Rabbit Red Rabbit.” Ground Floor Theatre is attempting something very different with this play by Iranian playwright Nassim Solimanpour because “White Rabbit Red Rabbit” has no director, no set and a different actor each night — none of whom have seen the show or read the script ahead of time.
