THE BUZZ, March 9: One obvious solution on gun violence — more police

When you spring forward Saturday night, change batteries in smoke detectors. Could save lives.

Judging by word usage and sentence structure, 90 percent of the anti-Trump whines here are written by three individuals, max. Why are you so miserable? Go back home!

Solution to gun violence? How about larger police departments? They enforce the laws. More police and precincts. Call your leaders and insist. Do nothing, get nothing. Give it a try!

I am 78. In the beginning the NRA was supported by the values and financial support of new membership. At some point it was bought by the gun manufacturers. Sad

I’m betting BCC will complete presidential search and have a highly qualified president at lower pay first even though CFCC had a four-month head start.

Why don’t people find out what they are writing about before sending in a Buzz? An AR-15 fires one bullet per trigger pull. It is not a machine gun!

Going to a play, concert or movie? Please respect those around you. I didn’t pay to listen to you talk, hear you sing or look at your cell phone’s glow.

Syrian President Assad is a war criminal for using chemical weapons on his own citizens, and Putin is for assisting him. Why isn’t the president denouncing this war crime?

Blaming the NRA for gun violence is as ridiculous as blaming the auto industry for DWI deaths. And yet the liberals and media continue to do exactly that. Smarten up.

To recent Buzzard — there IS a groundswell of opposition to offshore drilling. Scads of coastal communities issued resolutions against. BOEM scheduled meeting in Raleigh so fewer coastal people could attend.

What’s the deal on the loud, outrageous music when you walk into some stores at mall? Hard to even think! Where’s the Motrin? Is it just me?

Assault-weapons solution: Stop all sales, retail and personal. Those who have assault weapons, keep them; they are yours. However, you cannot sell them.

The guns are not the problem, it’s the people. Look at the generation that is eating Tide pods.

Dear Buzz editor: Three Buzzes on March 3 made same inane comments about Trump and “bone spurs.” Can you edit those out henceforth? Also, what is a “Mulligan”?

Bone spurs! Really? At least he had a reason for no military service. What were Clinton and Biden’s excuses: draft dodgers!

Falling off ladder can kill you. We don’t regulate ladders, but assault rifles are made for only one reason, and that’s to kill a human being. Let’s ban assault rifles.

Put off by Buzz’s policy of anonymity? Consider the “liberals” method of disagreement. Berkeley, NYU, Baltimore. Get the picture?

Extremely rare yellow cardinal in Alabama, what an opportunity to observe this beautiful bird, can’t help but think that Mike Marsh will see it as an opportunity to stuff it!

Amazing how weenies are jumping on the “Ban the Guns” bandwagon! Maybe the parents should be blamed for not paying attention to their kids!! It all starts in the home!

How is one person, Emperor Donald J. Trump, allowed to declare war (i.e., trade war: they’re “good and easy to win”) strictly to appease his base? Do your job, Congress!

Politics at its finest. Carolina Beach boardwalk in forever disrepair and the politicians can’t seem to figure out a solution before beach season. Unbelievable.

If teachers have to carry guns, presidents should have to read books.

I think we realize by now that we elected an immature, unstable whiner, as president of the United States. What are we going to do about it?

Let’s block ads! (Why?)
