LA's Hottest Celebrity Restaurant Group Will Open a Country Club-Style Sports Bar
Celebrity-friendly h.wood Group and partner Sean Mulholland have big expansion plans, kicking off the year with a new sports lounge named 40 LOVE in West Hollywood this April. Taking over the former Open Air space on La Cienega just south of Santa Monica Boulevard, it’s described as a “classic American country club meets a modern sports lounge.”
Designed built by John Sofio, the space takes inspiration from old school tennis country clubs with everything from dark wood accent to touches of greenery. Even the name harks back to the sport, as it refers to the tennis match point play.
Like the other restaurants in h.wood Group’s growing portfolio of restaurants and lounges (The Nice Guy, Delilah, Petite Taqueria), 40 LOVE will offer full menus with plenty of vegan options. Open for lunch, dinner, and late night bites, the newest restaurant and lounge offers the West Hollywood crowds plenty of time to imbibe and entertain. And with its location less than 400 feet from Petite Taqueria and Poppy and just a few blocks from The Nice Guy, The h.wood Group is well on its way to dominating the hottest stretch of La Cienega.
